Worldcat is now available for free book searching - I believe previously
paid subscriptions were required. Go to http://www.worldcat.org/ - this is
a beta site just announced this month but seems to work pretty well.
Worldcat has a huge database of holdings in major university and public
libraries. When you search for a title you can enter your zip code and it
will locate the book in libraries near you.
