Advance registration for ALA's Annual Conference ends in just 3 weeks on
May 19th.  For complete details about the conference, or to register go
to www.ala.org/annual.  
 
The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) is hosting over 30
meetings, programs and events for librarians who serve teens at the
conference.  Here are a just few highlights:
 
1) Reading With Your Ears: preconference on all things audiobook.   
2) YALSA 101: new to YA librarianship or YALSA?  Come learn about what
we have to offer you (sponsored by School Library Journal &includes
refreshments).   
3) Michael L. Printz Award Reception: authors of the winning book and
honor books speak about their writing experiences.    
4) "How Adult is Young Adult" President's Program: a panel of authors,
editors and reviewers discuss trends in YA Literature.
