[LM_NET] MIDDLE: novel about life in Africa

Our 6th grade English teacher is looking for a novel about everyday life in an 
African village or city, written by an African author.  She has used A Girl Named 
Disaster, by Nancy Farmer in the past but wants a change.  I've been looking with 
little luck.  If you have any suggestions, please e-mail them directly to me.
