Hi Colleagues,
I am interested in this subject because I just finished reclassifying more than 800 
books.  The previous librarians had set up the 92 designation, but in my four years 
here, I have decided that does not really suit the way my teachers and students 
work, so I assigned Dewey numbers according to the area the biography subject is 
identified with.  In middle school it was a good idea to have all the biographies 
together because teachers would often assign a "biography" bok report, but my high 
school population works by subject.  I'm already pleased with the increased access 
for my patrons.
