Hi folks!
Today, I had one of my middle school teachers tell me that she would like to
start a research paper this coming Wedsenday about Big Business in American History
(1880-1920). She wanted to know what websites I would recommend. She appeared to
have expected me to have numerous websites to that specific era at ready disposal.
I had to inform her that I am a new media specialist this year and that my arsenal
of ready-to-use information that are that specific would take time to accumulate.
I identified several online encyclopedias for her, as well as the Digital History
website, but she was looking for more detail. I have searched for several hours
without much avail using words like monopoly, industrialization, mechanization,
railroad/steel/oil industry, Ford/Rockifeller/Carnegie... Do anyone have any
recommendations of websites about which you are aware? I will post a hit if
requested. Thanks for any help you can offer.
