A great resource for all forms of poetry that is very user friendly
is A Kick in the Head : An Everyday Guide to Poetic Forms
by Paul B. Janeczko (Compiler), Chris Raschka (Illustrator) . I saw
it at Peggy Sharp's summer workshop and gave a copy to my sister who
works for the Indiana Writing Project. She said that is going to be a
permanent part of her book bag that she takes to workshops!
