Yes, you can insert a video clip. You will need to make sure that the video clip
can be played through Windows Media Player (not Quick Time or Real Player). If the
WMP works with the video clip, then you will go into the PPT program and insert the
video clip (drop down the INSERT and choose Movie and Sounds).
If your video doesn't work in Windows Media Player, you'll need to convert the
video into a compatible format (usually AVI format will work).
I've been converting videos from a digital camera that my students have shot and
putting them into a PPT presentation for an upcoming "Citizenship" presentation, so
I can guarantee that it can be done. You may just need to "tweak" the format of
the video to make it work!
