Preview of the National Book Festival with John Cole:

Type your name and click Enter to go into the online room.  A small software applet 
will download to your computer as you enter the room. All that is needed is an 
Internet connection, sound card, and speakers.  A headset with microphone will 
enable you to speak to the group.  Use of Internet Explorer is recommended.  Log on 
5 minutes early to allow for the web conference software to be downloaded 
automatically to your computer.

Note:   This conference will feature webcasts from previous book festivals.  To

The 2005 National Book Festival, organized and sponsored by the Library of Congress 
and hosted by first lady Laura Bush, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, on 
the National Mall in Washington, D.C., between 7th and 14th streets from 10 a.m. to 
5 p.m. (rain or shine). The festival is free and open to the public: <
