Greetings,
Now that I am retired I am volunteering with a relief agency. We are
putting together a training packet for teens and adults going to help
with hurricane relief. My suggestion is that it include books such
as those we would share with children dealing with surviving
hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, etc. It is my thought that
volunteers would see the experience before they go to serve. They,
of course, will get their best orientation from talking and spending
time with survivors. I have been searching our public library online
catalog but thought right away of the experts I learned so much from
while working. Thanks for your suggestions.
