Gen: Secondary Practicum Project Ideas
I am currently completeing my secondary practicum at
Simmons College in their GSLIS program. I am at a very
predominate college prep school that serves grades
7-12. One of the requirements is to complete a major
project and several minor ones while working in the
library. My main idea was to do a collection
development project focusing on either American,
British, or World Lit or something to do with Latin
studies. Do any of you have ideas as to what I could
do that would be different from a collection
development and would be meaningful to not only myself
and my education but to the librarians at the school?
The last student teacher at this location did an
AMAZING project on databases and I would like to do
something as amazing. Thanks,
Ted Schelvan
