I have a sub, but they never get one for my assistant. I will be getting a new
assistant next week. I have been without one for a few weeks since mine retired
due to health reasons. She was out for 3 months 2 years ago for a hip replacement
and I had no sub for her during any of that time. Since I am out today and Monday,
I have a sub, but she is reading books to kindergarten and first grade, giving a
written assignment to third grade and no books are being circulated. I also know
that if anything happened and a computer crashed or an overhead bulb needed to be
replaced, those would still be waiting for me on Tuesday (a day when I have 10
classes). It could be worse, I could still be teaching middle school special ed in
a self-contained classroom (LOL).
