My principal came to me today and asked me to "put my feelers out" for two things,
Read 180 and Study Island (that post will follow this one.)
Read 180 is one of the few NCLB-approved reading interventions so we are looking to
hear from schools who are using it for feedback on
- student progress
- use on Mac OS X (any technical difficulties?)
All of the research we've found is paid for by Scholastic--do you know of any
independent research supporting the success of Read 180?
Is there anything else schools considering Read 180 should know before they buy it?
I will post a hit with answers I receive.
Thank you in advance for your responses!
