[LM_NET] TAR: Elem: Transcontinental novels

Hi, everyone,
        I had a parent come to me today looking for novels for elementary 
students including the African-American and Native American points of 
view of the building of the transcontinental railroad. She is writing a 
unit as part of her elementary education classes.   I've done some 
searching and found a couple of picture books, but nothing like she's 
looking for.  Am I missing something?  I figured if anyone would know, 
someone here would.  Thanks!
