I have an elementary school that is looking at moving the computer lab
(28 computers) into their library. This is not a big space and would
take up the library with computer tables around power poles. I would
like to know if any of you have this situation. The lab teacher will
continue to have classes and will have the Library EA helping. My
concern, question is how do classrooms have access to getting books?
The EA (who has always manned the library) will not be able to read
aloud or do book talks as there will be a class doing tech stuff. Does
anyone see how this can be a good situation? I am screaming that we
will loose library services and limited access for students.
TIA
