[LM_NET] TAR: Illinois reference books for grade school

A couple weeks ago I requested possible titles of reference books to put in
our grade school library in honor of a retiring board member.  I got lots of
good suggestions, and I thank you.  The idea I liked best was to get
something about Illinois.  I put out a request for titles on our local list,
but didn't get what I was looking for.  Do any of you have any ideas about
suitable titles of reference type books or encyclopedias, etc. that would
work in a K-5 library?  I think my price range is around $100 based on what
the board has done in the past. Thanks.
