Hello, All!
The lead media specialist at my school is researching
a program in some public libraries called "Read it
Forward" wherein books are given a registration number
and then passed along to a reader. After finishing
the book, the reader posts a review of the book to a
blog-like web site. The reader then passes the book
along to another person, who reads/blogs/passes.
Sounds a bit similar to Bookcrossing.com, if you are
familiar with that.
Has anyone had experience with a program like this in
a school setting? We are specifically interested in
how the web site and blog were set up as our school
district blocks most public blogging web sites.
TIA. I'll post a HIT if there is any response.
