My target was for a suggestion for a cart to house an Elmo, LCD projector and
laptop and it looks like everyone is looking for the same thing. A couple of
suggestions were made -

"We use a cart for an overhead - the kind that has "wings" on the sides. The wings
hold the LCD projector and the keyboard/laptop and the middle section holds the
visualizer. The computer tower goes on the bottom shelf. It's not perfect but it
meets our criteria - low enough so that it doesn't block the children's view of the
screen, moves easily between desks, and holds the equipment."

"I like Bretford carts, and I know they have some that will work for you. If you
get a cart with electrical outlets on it be sure it can handle all three items. If
it can't you may as well save your money and just mount a power strip on the cart
yourself. In fact, you may want to go that way anyway, since a power strip and
decent extension cord will cost less than the electrical cord option on the cart."

My solution:
I think I have found a good cart. It's in the Demco 2005 annual catalog, page 800
and on their website. It's a Luxor Endura split-level table w/ keyboard shelf,
Product No.P149-3395. I think I can place the Elmo on the smaller top shelf and the
LCD projector on the second shelf. I think I will have to redrill holes for the
keyboard shelf to make it a little lower than shown to house a laptop instead of
the keyboard. I've called Demco and they are finding out the distance between the
top shelf and keyboard shelf for me and will let me know. The top shelf is 15"W x
24"D and it is 36"H. The second shelf is 32"W x 24"D. The price is $235 but your
county might have a company that has it on bid for less.

Another option is a taller and wider cart. It's in the same catalog, p. 798,
Bretford Laptop Cart, P149-3049. It's 42"H x 32"W x 24"D for $289.

Who would have thought it would be so difficult to find the perfect cart? So if
anyone finds the "perfect" cart, I think we would all like to know! Thanks for your
help.
