[LM_NET] TAR: Do You Know This Film?

I was contacted via e-mail by a former student at my school. He said that, as part 
of library class, they had to watch a movie. He now works for a tv station, and is 
trying to locate that same movie for an on-air clip. I pasted in his description of 
the plot, below. If you know the name of this film, or even have a guess, I'd 
appreciate your help. Thanks!
 
"the plot involved some sort of post-apocalyptic wasteland where the protagonists 
only hope of survival was to discover the last library in existence. Once there 
they had to teach themselves the Dewey Decimal system to fend off some sort of 
impending disaster."
