[LM_NET] Target: SEC: High School Reading

My new principal told me yesterday that next year every teacher will have to teach 
reading the first 15 minutes of class.  We are on a 4 period block schedule, so 
it's not a lot of time out of the period.
 
Do you do this at your high school?  I'd like to have ideas for books the teacher 
can read to a class, and ideas of different activities that different disciplines 
can use.
 
Please help me look like I have a brain at a time when I do not. :-)
