Greetings!
Our school will have our very first graduating class next spring, and we're
beginning the planning for Senior Week and the actual graduation ceremonies. Part
of this is trying to determine what kinds of ceremonies and/or traditions we want
to establish - teachers have been mentioning things like a senior dinner, as well
as smaller things like having a candlelight ceremony where the seniors light the
candles of the juniors, etc. I'd really appreciate any
suggestions/recommendations/warnings anyone could make for things of this nature.
I say warnings, because although next year's graduating class will be small,
eventually the number of graduates will be much larger, and we do want to be
cautious of beginning any traditions that could be fine for a small group but
problematic for a large one.
Thanks so much!
