Here's another idea:
Email 2 sentence thank you's immediately instead of leaving huge piles of
"To THank You's."
Don't worry about the capitalizations and grammar - just get the idea out
there.
Since I spent this summer reorganizing all of my photographs and scrapbooks
for 4 teenagers, filing 4 cabinet's worth of documents in 3 locations, and
organizing my archival emails, I have decided never to pile up thank you's
again. They won't get done! From re-reading my saved emails in the folder called
"Pick Me Up's", the 2 line thanks from other librarians mean much more than
the official district documentations.
