For folks on a budget - I have found many, many, like new, with the tags
stuffed animals and puppets in the Thrift Stores - many of which would work
for middle school.  I have the all the Arthur Characters, Barbar, assorted
Clifords and over 100 Folkmanis puppets.  I've found  Blues Clues, Disney
Characters and bears galore.  My prize is a giant brown bear - he's as a big
as a 5 year old that I dress in seasonable shirts.  I Goggled him and found
he retails for $120.00.  I paid $4.94.

You can also find some very good buys on E-bay.
