[LM_NET] Off Topic: Staff PR group like Sunshine Club

I have volunteered to help coordinate a Sunshine Club at our school.  This is the 
group that sends out flowers when there are deaths in the family among staff 
members, reconizes sick staff members, etc.  I would like to get an idea how other 
schools do their group.  If you can share any guidelines and special activities 
your group does, please e-mail me directly at Pope1966@aol.com or

Right now, we are looking at charging $10/person for a year to cover anything that 
might happen.  We have approx. 75 people on staff.

We have had one person who suggested we do a birthday recognition once each month 
for all staff members who have birthdays in that month.  We have not had a Sunshine 
Club for several years.  Instead, we pass a bag around and collect money during 
each event.  This is bad in one way because we have some staff who doesn't know 
others since we are so large.  We are a small school, but we have about 80 
self-contained special ed. students and many parapros in each class.
