A teacher wants to make copies of the audio tapes she will be purchasing
with grant money. They will be backup copies only, in case of loss or
damage to the original. Is that OK?
I have told her that the best thing to do would be to purchase from a
company that will replace damaged tapes, but of course this will be more
expensive. I didn't think it was legal to make copies, even in a "just
in case" situation.
Can anyone help me out?
