I've had several responses to my query, so huge thanks to all for that! However, I
haven't seen the title yet. It wasn't Harold and the purple crayon, or Me Lien and
the magic paintbrush. The main character was definitely a girl, and she buys a
pencil for 3 cents, I believe. It is a magic pencil and makes what she draws real.
Her pencil begins to wear down to a nub.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
