As a first year librarian, I held my very first Scholastic book fair in
November 2004. I was disappointed that so many of the books were
outrageously priced and the kids (who have very little money to spend) were
more interested in the gadgets and pens/pencils the company sent. Are there
any other book fair companies one can use that provide more economically
priced books? Are there suggestions out there for how I can make the book
fair more beneficial to the students? Any comments are greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
