Hello,
OK- last minute- I am getting observed tomorrow and the lesson I thought would
work has not so far (no matter how I have tweaked it). We are doing a KWL chart, we
did K and part of W last week, now we’re starting to read part 1. I was now
thinking of doing the L for Part 1 in that we are going to find main ideas for each
page and add them to the chart. I only have 20-25 minutes of teaching time before
book selection, and then they get the buses (they pack up and get coats at the
library).
Does anyone have another idea? I want to concentrate on Part 1 only to make a good
transition next week where we predict what will happen in NYC.
