[LM_NET] Live Wire File Sharing Service

Does anyone have experience with the Live Wire Music File Sharing service?  Is it a 
legal subscription music downloading service?  Are users copyright protected even 
if their on a free short term trial for the service?

I understand that downloading from the Napster subscription service is legal, but I 
don't know about Live Wire and I want to give a student of mine correct information.
