Sorry to post this to the whole listserv; the requester's mail system
won't accept mail direct from me. Maybe one from "LM_Net" can get
through!
I can recommend a few. In fact, if you go to my website (in my signature
below) and click on "dinosaur research" I have a page set up with all
four websites I like. I used them with second graders.
The site I think has the nicest layout and the easiest reading level is
a British Natural History Museum site,
http://internt.nhm.ac.uk/jdsml/dino/nameAZ.dsml?disp=gall&Genus=&sort=Genus
The only thing to watch out for is that the dimensions of the animal are
given in meters, not feet. I didn't notice this when I selected the
website, and we had to do some quick converting!
The others are: http://www.jpinstitute.com/dinopedia/dp_az_glossary.jsp
http://www.dinodictionary.com/azdict_index.asp
http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/dinosaurs/
Enjoy!
