This is one book I apparently did not learn how to use in my Reference
class. I recently bought the 1987-2001 22 volume set of the Encyclopedia
Britannica's Annals of America. My previous set was from the 1960's, so
I thought it was time to update. Truthfully, I should've not bought
before having the books in my hands to preview. I was told that this
newer set is infinitely easier to use.
My question: Could someone please teach this teacher how to use this
set? I have an index volume (22) -- which was the big selling point. It
looks like you have to know the year or an author's name to be able to
look anything up. Am I right?
Would you please "dumb it down" for me? Thank you very much.
Please do not reply to this e-mail, but send to the address in my
signature. I use 2 separate accounts to handle the volume of LM_NET
mail. Thank you again.
