TECH: Follett Global Update problem

hi,
i just tried updated my students (v. 6) by each grade, eg, all 3 graders =
with 3 in the grade field were updated to 4. by the time i finished, =
every student was in grade 6!! i have no idea why it decided to upgrade =
everyone to 6 as it specifically asks which grade you are changing.=20
i've done it in the past without this problem.
