[LM_NET] GEN: Help identifying book

[twest <twest@UARK.EDU>]

A teacher came in this morning asking about a book...of course, no title or
author!  Anyway the book was probably from the 60's or 70's and she thought it
was an award winner.  In the story, a girl goes with her family to the beach
at night to watch/catch grunions.  It did not ring a bell with me.  Can any of
you help?
