I received two of those warnings this morning. I have been unable to
access my email from my main library computer. It doesn't appear to have
infected anything. I thought it was from the school technology committee,
stupid me I downloaded the attachment. I couldn't open it, but like I
said, I can't access my email from that computer. BE CAREFUL.

Subject: GEN: VIRUS WARNING
Dear LM_NET Colleagues,
I would like to warn you about a new type of e-mail virus (mass-mailing
worm) that I have been receiving. Fortunately my antivirus software has
cleaned all of the messages. It might be a version of this virus:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.beagle.j@mm.html
The messages appear to come from an administrator of my e-mail provider,
but when the e-mail full header is examined, it is actually from a
different source.
It arrives with a very deceptive subject and text content. It also has an
attached file with virus. The subject is a variation on the following:
Subject: E-mail account disabling warning. (fwd)
Subject: Notify about using the e-mail account.
Here is an example of one such bogus/infected message
