I am leveling my collection with lexile numbers. I am using
lexile.com as the site where I locate lexile numbers for titles.
Occasionally I find that a lexile range is given for a book that has
appeal for older students. For example, Are You there God? It's me,
Margaret has a lexile number of 590 which is the second, third grade
level on a lexile chart. Has anyone else found lexile numbers which
sometimes seem inappropriate? Thanks!
