Hey Ann!  Personally, I love John Saul.  His horror is very popular with th=
e teen crowd just like Stephen King is/used to be.  He has a website that=
 has some student information you might want to check out <http://www.joh=
nsaul.com/>.  Also, most public libraries will have his books on tape whi=
ch might save you a bit of time deciding whether or not your kids are rea=
dy for his work.  He's very scary, and sometimes a bit gory, but I can't =
remember sexually explicit stuff or anything like that right off the top =
of my head.
