Tar: Core collection for church library

One more question re: a church library:

Is there a list of a core collection of books?  This would be for =
Methodist denomination--but surely there is somewhere a list of books =
that should be in church libraries.

I've gotten good response on the automation question and passed along =
information to others who requested it.
