I have a Sony Macvia which uses a floppy adaptor so that it can use a memory
stick. It began to give me an error C41 message. C41 means the disk drive
is bad. I asked this group for help. Someone helped me find a site that
said for $140 it could be repaired. I did not want to spend that kind of
money when the camera had taken less than 100 photos.
Luckily yesterday I was speaking with a sales clerk in a camera
store about the problem. He said the adaptor probably just needed new
batteries. I took the camera in to that store today and for $4.50 I put new
batteries in and (ta-da!) my camera works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't have to tell you how happy I am!
