TARGET: Technical Services Handbook: Receiving Procedures

Greetings to all,

I am a LMT graduate student seeking input for a class assignment. Each person/group 
within my technical services class has to research a topic that pertains to 
technical services. My topic is receiving.

I have to research how library media specialists handle the receiving of materials, 
equipment, etc. Where is it delivered? Who verifies the condition of the contents? 
Who pays the bill?, etc.

At the end of class everyone will receive a copy of each group's chapter to be put 
together in our own technical services handbook. It will be very useful.

I am asking as many of you that are able to please reply with how your library 
handles receiving materials and equipment--(school librarians).
