ELEM: Would you buy these 2 books?

I have a teacher wanting me to get a couple of books for the library:  =
Inkheart (I already own Thief Lord and it's popular among the kids) and =
the other book is Because of Annya by Haddix (I already have The Shadow =
Children series and like it).  Has anyone read either of these?  And are =
they worth putting in a collection?  I just haven't gotten to them yet.  =
