We haven't had a coffee house at our high school in well over a decade and
I've never done one. The very small poetry club and the library are going
to attempt one the evening of Mar. 2nd for Read Across America Day. We have
an espresso cart and I plan to buy pastries etc., and start advertising soon
for students to read original poems and other memorized published pieces. I
am trying to recruit some drama students to dramatize a Dr. Seuss book and
some literary pieces from the speech team. If you have done a coffee house,
any advice would be appreciated.
