Gifted and Talented Program Info

Dear Colleagues,
I work at an elementary school, part of a public school district in MA. We
are exploring developing a Gifted and Talented Program for our students
district-wide.
I am curious to know if any of you work for a school or district that offers
a Gifted and Talented Program, and if so, what are the criteria for entry
into the program?: i.e. scores on standardized tests, teacher referral, IQ
testing, etc.
