I am a K-12 librarian - and teach K-6 weekly for 45 minute periods. The
kindergarteners are OK for about 35 minutes of that. I'm trying to find
ideas for games that I could buy to give them some library appropriate
input and activities to fill the time when they have had it. I teach them
immediately before their lunch period - so they're tired AND hungry during
library class. I try to get them on their feet & directly involved in
learning activities - but would like to have things to pull out and use
when they've simply hit their attention limit. Our library is not large,
but I do have tables and floor space enough to accommodate small groups in
centers. Thanks AGAIN for your input and help. I'll be glad to post a
hit.
