On my travels out west this summer, I stopped at many libraries in
Washington and Oregon. At one of them, ( can't remember which) I picked up
a YALSA Best Books for Young Adults booklet with all the titles (annotated)
as well as one for Quick Picks.
It was printed landscape , the best books one was 11 pages (plus front and
back cover) and each page on the left side had the message "Copyright 2002
American Library Association. ALl rights reserved. Permission granted to
reproduce for nonprofit educational purposes" printed going up the side
edge.
I was wondering whether ALA creates these for institutional members to use
or this particular library created it by itself.
