I've retained all the messages about designing an LM_NET ID for apparel and
tote bags. The numbers illustrate the desire for these items to be available
for wearing to local and national activities. There's definitely power in
numbers - and more people will become aware of the opportunities the
listserv can offer our peers. Bless our "designers" for their creativity -
keep it up! There are definitely sources near us who can accommodate our
interests!David Lininger has a beautiful contact right in his school and my
family has an embroidery business, both of which would love to provide
sources.
I, too, think that a logo for LM_NET is a recognizable tool for us to use.
Only the size of some items like baseball hats may encourage us to think of
a smaller illustration or a text only phrase. Is anyone interested in
creating a voting site that shows the various ideas shared? We need to have
a deadline for ideas, too.
