   We  require students who use the computers during noon hour to sign up at the 
check out desk. They have to display a  bright orange permission card on top of the 
computer.  Our sr. high requires all students to display  an ID card.   We've both 
bought little plastic card holders from Calloway house; the holders stick to the 
top of the monitor.

We have over one hundred computers in the media center; even though the novelty 
should have long worn off, we still have a few problems with neutered mice.

Amazing -- and frustrating --- that kids still find that they need to play with 
stuff.
