5th grade Language Arts sites and books

One of my 5th. grade teachers asked for some help in spicing up her =
Language Arts units. She is looking for games, projects and crafts to =
incorporate in her teaching of the different types of verbs, etc.  She =
has handouts but states that she wants more interactive things for the =
kids to get involved with. =20

I want to create a notebook full of ideas for her to use.  Any online =
sites I could glean information from would be appreciated. Actually =
anything would be of help.

Part of my job is being the resource person for our faculty. It's the =
only time she has asked for help so I don't want to fail.
