Deathwatch and Holes

Here is another recommend if your students liked Holes. It is Deathwatch by Robb 
White.

It is about a college student needing money for school, and accepts a job as a 
guide on a desert hunting trip and nearly loses his life. It is very visual, you 
feel thirst and pain as it describes the characthers feelings and emotions. BUT 
when it gets to the end I was rather disappointed as it ended so abruptly. Almost 
like the author got tired of writing. It had tons of good reviews though.

If anyone out there has read it, i would be interested in your take on the end of 
this book.
