Target: Collection Development Wording

One of our middle school librarians is interested in how your collection
development policies might address the question of patron requests.
She wants to acquire some high-interest, student-suggested titles
and has set up an Amazon account so that she can respond
relatively quickly.

Her current collection policy does not address these sort of
requests or books purchased outside of the regular review
journal and curriculum-support route.  If you have wording in your
collection deveopment policy to cover this sort of purchase, she'd
 like you to send her  that rationale from your policy.
