As a first year media specialist, I have already had my first water-damaged
book returned to school. After discussing this issue with my principal we
have decided to write a letter to the parents explaning that as much as we
would like their child to use the library we cannot have a lot of damaged
books returned. We would also like to include something about student
responsibility and accountability. I would like this letter very parent
friendly, since I am in a lower income school and we all understand the
bidget crunch issue. Is there anyone who would be willing ot share with me
their parent letter about replacing a damaged or lost book? Thank you for
your time!
