I love listening to audio books on my to and from work. Since my car is =
not the latest and greatest I only have a lowly tape player. The book I =
want to listen to is on CD. I thought I could take my Sony =
tape/radio/CD player and put it in the car. First, the player has no =
way to plug a DC adaptor in. Second, it takes 6 D batteries (almost $9 =
worth) and THEN I find that there is no way to stop the CD and restart =
it where I left off UNLESS I leave the power on and it sucks the =
batteries all day. Do I just have the lowest level of equipment or =
would this be aproblem even if I could plug the thing into the car =
because it would draw on the car battery all day??? BTW, the library =
only has the CD version.
This may be off-topic but it is literary. The audio book is Blessing by =
Anna Quindlen. I beleive it was reccomended by someone on LM_NET.
